Reporting directly to the Head of Network Processing LA/C, the Manager will be expected to interact effectively with all levels of Visa management and staff. This position will involve frequent interaction and communication with key Visa stakeholders, including Clients, Governments, Processors and Associations.

The position will be based at Visa Brazil office and will have dotted line reporting to the Brazil GNP Business Leader.

Specific responsibilities include:

Support the development and the execution of the Global Processing Strategy for Brazil.
Help ensuring the Visa Brazil Staff is effectively communicated and that strategies and actions plans are understood by the relevant stakeholders.
Assist in the development of a network processing sales plan including relevant metrics to ensure revenue targets are understood and tracked.
Support the implementation and operation of the plan, with a focus on fast resolution of problems and stakeholder satisfaction.
Collaborate to identify, qualify and quantify market specific opportunities in close cooperation with Brazil GNP Business Leader, local relationship management and product teams.
Assist in promoting an understanding of critical success factors to achieving network processing revenue objectives.
Provide input into design and implementation of general marketing and promotional activities to ensure increased awareness of processing objectives and priorities.
Define/gather business requirements and manage multiple projects to enhance VisaNet Domestic Processing capabilities, working in collaboration with cross-functional local and virtual teams.
Identify industry dynamics and support the design of new domestic processing capabilities to address unique market needs.
Support managing investments on domestic processing system enhancements. Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and coordinate the provisioning of education and sales support to Client-facing teams.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Visa's processing capabilities overall with specific knowledge and leadership of network processing objectives.
Provide training to Client-facing staff with the goal of ensuring Client-facing staff becomes self-sufficient in processing sales and opportunity identification.
Conduct key stakeholder presentations, seminars and workshops.
Collaborate to deliver tailored content to articulate the capabilities and Value of VisaNet to a variety of audiences.
Help to identify value added processing opportunities and highlight the commercial and performance benefits to respective customers
Ensure appropriate end to end project management including the testing and implementation of new processing opportunities with clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field, preferably in, the electronic payments environment.
Master's degree highly preferred.
Typically requires 5-7+ years’ experience in payment processing, including products and services, business systems and processes.
Card issuer, consumer banking, retail banking and/or other financial services experience required.
Sales experience and proven negotiation skills preferred
Direct experience in working in a network processing area preferred.
Experience in the Brazil Electronic Payment Industry is required.
Ability to translate product complexities into practical business solutions appropriate for Visa and its Clients.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaboration skills and the ability to influence direction and change attitudes and communicate effectively.
Strong planning, organizational, problem solving, project management and organizational skills.
Excellent time management skills, with an ability to achieve goals.
Some travel required.
Fluency in English and Portuguese required (written and verbal).
